Between lyrical songwriting and contemporary, catchy jazz aesthetics, Chiara Schönfeld and her band give expression to the subtle nuances of human emotions. With a clear voice, subtle grooves and poetic power, she creates pictorial soundscapes in which composition and improvisation gently flow into one another. The tension between vulnerability and urgency gives rise to a peaceful, melancholy world that offers space to pause and be.

Milestones to date include the recent release on SONNA Records EP Rather Waves Than Linesthe debut album ITAKIRY (2022) - featured by Radio SRF 2 Kultur and accompanied by a CH release tour - as well as a sold-out concert debut at Club Nine of TivoliVredenburg Utrecht (April 2024).
